The National Endowment for Democracy has opened its annual Moldova grant cycle. Grants of up to $50,000 are available for civic organizations working on democratic governance, press freedom, and electoral integrity.

The National Endowment for Democracy (NED) has opened its 2026 annual grant cycle for Moldova. Grants ranging from $15,000 to $50,000 are available for Moldovan NGOs, think tanks, and independent media organizations. Priority areas include democratic culture, civic education, investigative journalism, electoral monitoring, and legislative advocacy.

NED grants are direct, without intermediaries, and applications are reviewed on a competitive basis. EU Next Grants can support proposal development and budget structuring for NED applications.
